ADAGIO™
A Suzanne's original, Adagio™ focuses on increasing flexibility while toning and building core muscle strength and coordination. A foundational barre warmup is based on classic ballet. Standing and moving combinations incorporate classic and contemporary dance, as well as ballroom and Latin dance, all set to unique music designed to develop balance, control, and grace. These flowing, rhythmic movements connect body, mind, and music.

JAZZED UP! JAZZ FITNESS
Jazzed Up! is based on the authentic Luigi Jazz Technique, created by teacher and choreographer Luigi (Eugene Faccuito), which became the world’s first complete technique for learning jazz dance. Dance historians have defined the style as classic jazz, sophisticated, elegant, and, even, liquid fire. This technique is designed to prevent injuries and stresses the importance of using the body properly. The warm-up takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes, and the remainder of the class is dedicated to learning a jazz routine and bringing out your inner performer.
Thursdays, 10:30 - 11:45 a.m.
DANCE LEVEL: 1 - 2

WHICH FITNESS CLASS IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
Maybe you’ve been dancing for years or maybe you want to get fit but dancing just isn’t your thing. Good news! We offer classes with varying degrees of choreo. To help you choose, under each class description you’ll find a Dance Level listed. Here’s a rundown:

Dance Level 0: Dancing not a priority, but want to feel the benefits of exercise? Then a GYROKINESIS® group class is for you. Performed on mats and chairs, the technique is composed of spiraling, circular movements with corresponding breath work.

Dance Level 1: If you’d rather move to “just the basics,” then Flex, Flow & Firm is for you. If you're new to the studio, this is a great class to start with prior to moving to our other dance-fitness classes. Also, Beginner Tap is a perfect starting point if you've always wanted to tap but never took the plunge. We know you'll love it!

Dance Levels 2 and 3: If you’ve enjoyed dance classes or dance-based fitness classes in the past, then you should feel comfortable jumping into our Adagio™, DanceFit, Intermediate Tap or Jazzed Up! Jazz Fitness class.
